The B3.3 is built to last, with a cast-iron parent bore block designed for durability and reliability. Every element of the design adds value to the customer, including:
Direct injection for increased fuel efficiency, low heat rejection and quicker starts
A deep, stiff crankcase with structural ribs for lower noise and increased life
An isolated valve cover for reduced noise
Optional intake air heater for cold-weather starting

Turbocharged B3.3 engines require an oil change at 350-hour/3-month intervals, while naturally aspirated models can go 500 hours or 6 months between oil changes.
